Juno, a whip-smart teen, confronts an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker. With the help of her hot best friend Leah, Juno finds her unborn child a "perfect" set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa, longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs.

ATONEMENT
Joe Wright, the BAFTA Award-winning director of Pride & Prejudice, has reunited with his filmmaking team and his Academy Award-nominated actress, Keira Knightley, for another classic British romance, Atonement, starring James McAvoy (BAFTA Award nominee for The Last King of Scotland) opposite Ms. Knightley. Christopher Hampton (Academy Award winner for Dangerous Liaisons) has written the screenplay adaptation of Ian McEwan's best-selling 2002 novel Atonement.

THE ORPHANAGE
"The Orphanage," presented by Oscar-Nominee Guillermo del Toro, centers on a Laura (Belén Rueda from "The Sea Inside") who purchases her beloved childhood orphanage with dreams of restoring and reopening the long abandoned facility as a place for disabled children. Once there, Laura discovers that the new environment awakens her son's imagination, but the ongoing fantasy games he plays with an invisible friend quickly turn into something more disturbing. Upon seeing her family increasingly threatened by the strange occurrences in the house, Laura looks to a group of parapsychologists for help in unraveling the mystery that has taken over the place.Directed by: Juan Antonio Bayona

The last thing the two Savage siblings ever wanted to do was look back on their undeniably dysfunctional family legacy. Wendy (Academy Award® nominee Laura Linney) is a self medicating struggling East Village playwright, AKA a temp who spends her days applying for grants and stealing office supplies, dating her very married neighbor. Jon (Academy Award® winner Philip Seymour Hoffman) is an obsessive compulsive college professor writing obscure books on even more obscure subjects in Buffalo who still can’t commit to his girlfriend after four years even though her cooking brings him tears of joy.

Carey was honored as one of Variety’s Top Ten Producers to Watch for 2004. Carey began her career working at William Morris Agency as the head of development for the agency, serving their top film and television clients.
Anne Carey, together with partner Ted Hope, founded New York production company This is that. Carey previously produced films and was head of development for Good Machine for nearly a decade. Carey's latest work includes THE SAVAGES starring Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman and was written and directed by Tamara Jenkins. Fox Searchlight premiered the film during Sundance 2007. In addition, Carey is an executive producer on Alan Ball’s feature film directorial debut NOTHING IS PRIVATE, which stars Aaron Eckhart, Toni Collette and Maria Bello, and is currently in post-production.
Carey recently completed TRAINWRECK: MY LIFE AS AN IDOIT, written and directed by Tod Harrison Williams, starring Seann William Scott, Gretchen Mol and Jeff Garlin. Carey’s most recent film THE EX starred Zach Braff, Amanda Peet, Jason Bateman, Charles Grodin and Mia Farrow. Camelia Entekhabifard, a journalist and native of Tehran, has been a contributor to O, the Oprah Magazine and has reported on Iranian and Afghan affairs for AP, Reuters, EurasiaNet, the Village Voice, and Mother Jones.
In Iran, she wrote for a number of newspapers, including the leading reformist daily, Zan. In 1999 at the age of 26, she was arrested for her journalistic activities and spent three months in solitary confinement. She holds a master’s degree from New York University’s School of Journalism and another master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs.
She currently lives in the United States and spends much of her time reporting from Afghanistan and the Middle East. Her memoir, Camelia: Save Yourself By Telling the Truth, A Memoir if Iran was published by Seven Stories Press last spring.

10/22 - Before The Devil Knows You're Dead
Master filmmaker Sidney Lumet directs this absorbing suspense thriller about a family facing the worst enemy of all – itself. Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman plays Andy, an overextended broker who lures his younger brother, Hank (Ethan Hawke) into a larcenous scheme: the pair will rob a suburban mom-and-pop jewelry store that appears to be the quintessential easy target. The problem is, the store owners are Andy and Hank’s actual mom and pop and, when the seemingly perfect crime goes awry, the damage lands right at their doorstep. Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei plays Hoffman’s trophy wife, who is having a clandestine affair with Hawke, and the stellar cast also includes Albert Finney as the family patriarch who pursues justice at all costs, completely unaware that the culprits he is hunting are his own sons.
